Dissipação de cloro em piscinas

Abstract

This study discusses the use of substances which are at present gencrically called ''chlorinc stabilizers'' which aims at minimizing the problem of chlorine dissipation in swimming pools due to ultraviolet rays from sunlight. ln practical terms, this dissipation makes chlorine dosage very complex. Special attcention is given to the use of cyanuric acid which reduzes as much as 75% of chlorinc consumption, besides reducing maimenance work and the use of cyanurate (organic chloramines) as disinfection agent.
