Abstract

This paper summarizes the results of eight sedes of radiofrequency field intensity measurements carried out by CETESB .in the urban area of São Paulo city. The maio objective in con-ducting these measurements was to obtain information about the field intensities which can be pro-duced by VHF broadcast antennas and the associated levei of public exposure to such radiations. The power densities derived from eletric field intensity measurements were from 1 μ.W/cm2 on ground levei to 336 μ.W/cm2 at a building roof under FM and TV transmission tower
