Variabilidade de testes de toxicidade com peixes

Abstract

Severa acute toxicity tests were run with Brach_vdanio rerio, in flow-through system, with each of six different chemicals in order to evaluate the variability of 96h - LC(I)50. The precision of the results, expressed as coefficient of variation, was of 17.8% for CuSO4 .5H2O, 19.9% for ZnSO4 .7H2 0, 11.6% for NH4Cl, 12.7% for C6H50H, 24.3%; for DDT technical grade and 12.6% for K2Cr2O7 These coefficients of variation were acceptable, assuring the validity of this system for the evaluation of the toxicity of chemicals to fishes.
