Uso de modelos digitais em Engenharia Ambiental

Abstract

The aim of this work is to present the methodology used in environmental engineerings projects developed in small mines of southern Brazil, using digital terrain modelling. Firstly, the paper describes the techniques and the steps involved in the generation of this digital models. The mining project is developed with special attention to figures creation, which describes properly the excavation sequence. It is considered that a correct mining plan is the main contrai procedure to minimize the ecological disturbs. The paper describes a real case where this methodology was applied.
